Computer & Laptop Repair in Ocala — Done Right Outside Your Door

Your computer,
fixed at your door.

If your computer won’t turn on, takes five minutes to open an email, or has started throwing pop-ups you didn’t ask for, you don’t need to unplug everything, load it in the car and drive across Ocala to a shop. Call me, tell me what it’s doing, and we’ll bring the workshop to you.

I’m Dakota, and I run Speedy Tech Solutions here in Ocala. Most computer shops still work the old way: drop it off, wait a week, hope someone calls. We built ours around a fully equipped service van instead. We park outside your house or office, and the repair happens right there.

What we fix

We work on Windows PCs and Macs, desktops and laptops. If it’s slow, noisy, hot, or simply won’t start, we can look at it. The jobs we see most around Ocala:

Won’t turn on or won’t boot

Black screen, endless spinning circle, beeping on startup.

Slow performance

Usually it’s an old hard drive, too little memory, or years of junk running in the background. A tune-up or an SSD upgrade often makes an older machine feel new again.

Virus, malware and pop-up removal

Including the fake “your computer is infected, call this number” screens. If you’ve already called one of those numbers, tell us — we’ll check what they left behind.

Hard drive and SSD replacement

plus memory and storage upgrades.

Screen, keyboard and fan repairs

on laptops.

Data recovery

Photos, documents and records off a drive that has stopped behaving, and then a proper backup so it can’t happen twice.

New computer setup

Everything moved over from the old machine, email and printers connected, and an unhurried walkthrough so you know where things are.

How it works

1

Tell us what’s wrong

Use the repair form or just call. You don’t need the technical words — “it makes a clicking noise and then nothing” is plenty.

2

We call you back with a price

before you commit to anything.

3

Our van comes to you

Pick a day and a time window that suits you.

4

We hand it back working

show you what we did, and make sure you’re happy before we drive off.

Simple jobs are often finished on the spot. Anything that needs a part ordered in, or a bigger job like data recovery, takes longer — and we’ll tell you that before we start, not after.

No surprise charges

The price we quote is the price you pay. There’s no call-out or travel fee; the drive is already built in. If we can’t fix it, you pay the $59 diagnostic and nothing more. If you go ahead with the repair, that $59 comes straight off the job.

And if a repair isn’t worth the money — say a seven-year-old laptop needs a part that costs more than the laptop is worth — I’ll tell you straight and tell you what I’d do instead.

Plain English, always

Plenty of people have been made to feel foolish at a computer counter. That’s not how we work. We explain what’s wrong, what it costs and what your options are before we touch anything. Ask the same question twice. Genuinely, it’s fine.

Covered for 90 days

Every repair we do comes with our 90-day warranty. If the same fault comes back, so do we.

Where we go

We’re based in Ocala and cover the whole area — from the downtown square out to SR 200, Silver Springs, the farms off 27 and everywhere in between. We also head out to Dunnellon, The Villages, Gainesville and the rest of Central Florida.

Running a business?

If it’s more than one computer — an office, a shop, a practice — take a look at our Managed IT Services. One local team can keep all of your machines patched, backed up and working, so you’re not calling around every time something breaks.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

Do you really come to me?
Yes. Computer repairs happen in our service van parked outside your home or office. You never have to haul a desktop anywhere.
How long does a computer repair take?
Smaller fixes like malware cleanup or a memory upgrade are often done during the visit. Failed drives, data recovery or anything needing a part ordered take longer, and we’ll give you a realistic timeline up front.
Do you work on Macs?
Yes — Macs and Windows PCs, both desktops and laptops.
What if you can't fix it?
You pay the $59 diagnostic and nothing more. If you go ahead with the repair, the $59 comes off the price.
Can you get my photos off a computer that won't start?
Often, yes. Data recovery from failing drives is something we do regularly. We’ll tell you honestly what the odds look like before you spend anything.
